The words in THE WOMAN IN THE W/MALL are involved in the process of meaning-making and evoke a variety of associations and expériences rather than being mere passive signifiers. Trough its language, physical structure, and location, the installation connects these meanings and associations with each other. It invites the audience to contemplate the relation between gender, language, and architecture, simultaneously highlighting their fluidity and subjectivity.
