For this work, Zaker has chosen the Persian noun "چهارگوشه," which contains the words "چهار" (four) and "گوش" (ear). By replacing these elements with four ceramic ears, Zaker creates an alternative written language and reading process, emphasizing the limitations of the written word.This is further emphasized by the contrast between the signifier and the signified.
